Grant
Keller holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Washington State
University. After working on commercial and higher education projects
for a local architecture firm, Grant branched into freelance design work
as INform Design Studio. As a licensed general contractor with
Terrabella, inc., Grant now works on his own small residential
development. He is particularly interested in the integration
of holistic design practices within the urban and suburban landscape and
how those practices can reduce our overall consumption of non-renewable
resources. His civic involvement in the last 9 years has ranged from
neighborhood council work, to Park Board Liaison, to his current
membership in of the DRC before becoming the DRC Chair. |

AP is President of Zeck Butler Architects, P.S., an architecture firm
established in Spokane in 1984, which specializes in sustainable design,
multi-family housing, commercial, and governmental construction. A
graduate of the University of Idaho, Rod is a member of the Board of
Directors of the Cascadia Green Building Council, served on the
Washington State High Performance Building Advisory Committee and the
Washington State Community Trade & Economic Development’s “Green Team”
for Sustainable Home Design and is a past Chair of the Spokane Housing
Authority. |

Mark D. Aden, P.E., S.E.
is a
principal with DCI Engineers, and the founding partner of their Spokane
office. Founded in 1988 (1998 in Spokane) DCI now has over 175
employees in five West Coast offices. Mark has 22 years of experience
in the structural engineering field, designing a wide variety of
commercial, industrial, educational, and governmental projects. He is a
licensed civil and structural engineer in 28 states, and has practiced
throughout the United States and beyond. Mark is an active member of
many different organizations, including the Downtown Spokane
Partnership, Spokane Chamber of Commerce, Structural Engineers
Association of Washington, and the American Institute of Architects. |

Hal Ellis
is retired and relocated to Spokane in 2001 from California. He is
active in Civic and Neighborhood affairs within the Spokane Community
serving on various Boards and Commissions. Some of these include: the
Office of Neighborhood Services Review Committee; the Citizens Streets
Advisory Committee; the Parking Public Development Authority; the
Mayor’s Citizens Advisory Committee; the Comstock Neighborhood and of
course the Design Review Committee. Hal’s educational background
includes an earned Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees majoring in Physical
Science and a minor in Mathematics. He spent thirty years working for
the City of Los Angeles retiring as a Division Manager. In addition, he
worked as a Management Consultant for many fortune 500 companies
designing and implementing computer systems. |

Anne Hanenburg |

Anne
Hanenburg is a landscape designer at Sherry Pratt Van Voorhis Landscape
Architects where she has worked on such projects as MSC Premera, WSU ICN,
Hospice of Spokane, Coeur d’ Alene Homes and other public and private
projects. Her design philosophy focuses on bringing people into contact
with nature from an environment and behavior platform. She completed
her Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from WSU where she was awarded
the 2002 WASLA Honor Award and Outstanding Senior in Landscape
Architecture. She also holds a Masters of Science in Architecture from
UI and won the International ARCC King Medal Award for outstanding
research and design. Anne is an active member in Environment Design and
Research Association (EDRA), American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA),
and Architects Designer and Planners for Social Responsibility (ADPSR).

Marj
Dahlstrom, Managing Developer, oversees the Spokane office of Common
Ground, a nonprofit housing development organization. She has more than
25 years experience community development and has managed community
development programs for the State of Washington, Spokane County and
Missoula County, Montana. She has also worked as a planner for the
Spokane County Boundary Review Board and taught classes on housing
development for the Eastern Washington University Department of Urban
and Regional Planning. She is currently working on affordable,
culturally sensitive, sustainable housing projects in Spokane and for
the Yakama Nation Housing Authority and Cowlitz Indian Tribal Housing.

William Grimes, AICP, has more than 20 years of planning
and urban design experience in both the public and the private sectors.
Bill is the founder and principal of Studio Cascade which specializes in
effective community participation and interconnecting the public voice,
long-range planning, and urban design, earning awards from the
California and Washington chapters of the American Planning
Association. Bill is a member of Eastern Washington University’s
adjunct faculty, and has taught courses in Spokane and Liverpool (United
Kingdom) on land development and the evolution of cities, and in
Australia on the links between the humanities and city form. He is a
member of the American Institute of Certified Planners and holds a
master’s degree in urban and regional planning from California State
Polytechnic University, Pomona. |

Dana Harbaugh, AIA, LEED® AP is a licensed
architect in the states of Washington, Idaho and California. He is a
Principal at NAC|Architecture where he led the design of the Inland
Northwest Blood Center, the Science and Mathematics Building at Spokane
Community College, the Business and Social Science Building at Spokane
Falls Community College and the renovation and addition of Rogers High
School. He is a LEED certified professional and has served as a guest
critic for the architecture programs at both WSU and the University of
Idaho. He has been active on the Spokane Arts Commission since 2003,
serving as the Chair in 2007. Dana graduated from Montana State
University in 1989. |
